B.J. Johnston is a family-run business established in 1996 by Brian Johnston, who has amassed over 25 years’ experience in livestock transportation. Nevertheless, livestock transportation has been in the family for over 50 years.
We specialise particularly in transporting livestock including cattle and sheep, covering all areas of England, Scotland and Wales.
Our vehicles are all modern and comply with all Animal Welfare Standards. All staff are fully trained, experienced, and to date with all current regulations. This allows for us to ensure we deliver your livestock on time, safely and effectively.
B.J. Johnston also hold a City & Guilds NPTC Award in the Transport of Animals by Road (over 8 hours). Our lorries are also certified in the ABM Standard Assurance Scheme (Red Tractor) – Membership no. 714.
